CAPTURE THE EMOTION

I think so many photographers miss out on simply the ability to capture emotion in an actual image in the essence of an individual. The photo doesn’t have to be the most extravagant picture of all time but simply being able to capture a moment within a millisecond of expression is what makes and separates amateurs from professionals. When you’re on set with the client, don’t be afraid to ask them questions, don’t be scared to have a conversation, and photograph them with genuine emotion other than something that is staged. A great image of an individual is when the eyes tell the emotion.
